MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Robert Abello works as an emergency physician and practices integrative medicine, as President of ReGenyx Integrative Medicine in Coral Gables, Florida.

Originally from Spain, Dr. Abello, has worked on research projects in physiology and endocrinology and has authored and co-authored many publications in medical journals.

PEDIATRIC ADVISOR

Dr. Lisa Gonzalez-Abello, is a founding member of Angel Wings International, and is our senior pediatric advisor.

Originally from Spain, she graduated from the University of Miami College of Medicine and completed her Residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

She currently practices pediatric and adolescent medicine in South Florida.

SENIOR MEDICAL COORDINATOR

Dr. Christian Le is the Medical Director and acting President of a twelve physician hospitalist corporation located in Monterey, California. He has experience as an international disaster medical coordinator in Vietnam, Sri Lanka and now Haiti.

Dr. Le also sits on the board of the Smile Group, a French nonprofit organization that provides support for children with HIV in Vietnam.

WOMENS HEALTH ADVISOR

Dr. Helen Hostin is a founding member of Angel Wings International. She brings considerable experience in international women's health, including work in Africa and Latin America.

Dr. Hostin graduated from NYU School of Medicine, and completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynelcology at New York College of Medicine. She has practiced in New York since 1997.

PROJECT MANAGER

Joe managed the building of Angel Wings’ first permanent medical clinic. Since then, he has become a major contributor in guiding the direction of AWI’s clinic development and major events.

Joe has worked nonprofits like UNICEF, Habitat for Humanity, Americares, Shelter International and the American Red Cross.

ASSISTANT FUNDRAISING SPECIALIST

Jordan helps Angel Wings with everything that involves fundraising, tracking donations, and fulfilling our "Pave the Way" campaign.

Jordan’s sales experience as a Cutco Sales Professional has been instrumental in keeping Angel Wings funded and delivering care to patients.

TRIP COORDINATOR

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, Eric has worked with dozens of non-profits including starting his own organization called “Project Volunteers”.

His life mission is simple: to make this world a better place for everyone he meets.

TRIP COORDINATOR

Tara studied Event Planning at Stevenson University in Maryland and serves a lead coordinator for AWI’s build mission trips. She is responsible for coordinating the communication with all our volunteers.

FUNDRAISING SPECIALIST

Since 2015, Francisco has spoken at numerous events to rally support for Angel Wings International. His energy and enthusiasm are powerful symbols of his character and make him an influential member in AWI’s fundraising campaigns.

DONOR RELATIONS

Aron is a Chicago native and lives in Banff, Canada. At 21, he volunteered with AWI in Haiti, where he witnessed the profound positive impact humans can have on each other.

He hopes to help more people discover the love and purpose found in living a life dedicated to helping others.

TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

Mario manages the technical components of Angel Wings’ donor engagement, including the AWI website, donation platform integrations, and other digital services.
